What Is Intention Tapping?
Intention Tapping, also called Intention-Based Energy Process (IEP), is an emotional wellness method developed by Steve Wells. It combines focused intention statements with tapping on traditional acupressure points to support emotional relief. Practitioners use IEP to help people address limiting beliefs, emotional distress, or internal blocks that may affect how they respond to challenges. During a session, the person taps while focusing on intention statements related to unwanted thoughts or feelings. This simple and practical method creates room for new perspectives.

What Happens During a Coaching Session?
During a session, you gently tap specific meridian points on your body with your fingertips while focusing on a stressor or difficult emotion and speaking an intention statement. As you continue tapping and noticing any thoughts, emotions, or body sensations that arise, we follow that energy to create the next intention statement tailored to your situation.
Physical releases may include yawning, crying, or a new awareness of sensations in the body. Emotional reactions may also arise and usually subside as you continue processing the issue.
These responses can indicate that your nervous system is settling, creating more calm and reducing cortisol, a stress hormone.
